looking back.

its already been 2 months since the shooting compt., 3rd&2nd for the north zone indivisual and team event respectively; how time passes. when i look at the medals, i don't know whether i should feel happy, or sad; feeling happy cause of the acheivement, or feeling sad because i feel i could've done better. sure, i performed above expectations, we were the only NPCC unit taking part in the nationals, and 'captain'ing the C div team was fun too, but could i have done better if i had put more effort into the trainings? when we first joined the team, we were told that we weren't challenging for anything, but just to expose us to the competition-environment; we only trained for one month, while the shooting clubs have trained for at least 1 year. on competition day we had to skip classes, so cool haha, then we had a big 40 seater bus for just like 8 people, lol. wasted. i waited 6 hours before my shoot, the C boys started at noon so we just slacked around in the bowling alley. lol then the B boys got 4th in north zone, and i started getting cold feet, blah. mid-way through my shoot my middle finger got cramps lol wth. couldn't hold the pistol properly. so i just endured and continued. should've sat down instead. got a couple of sixes then i got frustrated:x . so i guess adrenaline got me through last part of the competition. saw my scores, the last 30 shots were crap. sigh. oh well, hope i'll do better next year. gonna do my art now(its due tomorrow!)
