CCA Day.
Went well I guess, all the range lanes were occupied during the 2 hours.
Jeffrey was in his full-U talking to parents, so funny(:
He was talking to them and pointing to me, idk what he was saying. --
So.. I was overlooking safety, and helped vladimir brief the sec 1s when he needed a break.
I think we should hang a banner in the range next year.
Some sec 1s asked me whether this is NCC. SOO blur.
Well, lesson learnt. Haha.
I heard that many people were at the booth upstairs at the start too.
But most sec 1s left right after the welcoming ceremony,
so the turnout of approx 90 sec 1s in the range is very good.
Now, time to wait for the results. Haha.
Went to cafe cartel with joelim, joelchoo, jeffrey and javier.
Joel Lim is sooo noisy. tsktsk(:
Oh well. We got our CC team shirt design settled. Thats a start.
I think it'll be quite nice.
Bought a tub of yami yogurt and went home after that.
I will kill the next junior who calls me 'emo'.
Soccer tomorrow. Ah.
I'll just play awhile and get home by 3-4.
Oh I left this on for 2 hours without posting.
Sitting on the fine white sand,
looking up at the starry sky,
I wondered whether this was the start of the very end.
Was life just full of lies?
Yes, it was late. And yet, it was early morning.
I thought about fate and irony,
and the pain stung.
I looked up at the stars once again,
and felt like one of them.
One that refused to shine,
and as I wondered over and over again,
doubts filled my weary mind.
A shooting star passed me by,
just like the many people I held dear in my life.
I made a wish, a quick wish.
To fly high, and be back among the stars.
For hours I sat,
curious about the real things in life.
What was I going at? What did I want?
And then dawn came through.
Falling back in time,
I stood up on my feet, among the now-diminishing stars.
Thinking about the days when everything rhymed,
and walking back down the misty, empty street.
Leaving nothing but footprints.
Familiarism.
